The range runs from character animals to quiet geometrics. Start from who sleeps there and what the room already does.

• Children's rooms: Shiba Inus, capybaras, pandas and otters are instantly recognisable, and a print a child picks makes bedtime an easier negotiation.
• Adult or guest rooms: checks, geometrics and the daisy print are quieter and wear better over years of use.
• Small rooms: sparser prints in lighter tones read as more open. Save the large-scale designs for a bigger room.
• If the walls already carry pattern or a strong colour, a simple check keeps the two from competing.

Hard to choose? Start with a pale check and add an animal print later as a seasonal change.

The percentage matters more than the wording. 100% means the fabric is cotton throughout, with no synthetic blended in.

• Watch for labels that say "cotton rich" or give no percentage at all — those are usually blends.
• Blends crease less, but they give up breathability and moisture absorption, which is exactly what you notice in a humid Hong Kong summer.
• It shows in the print too: cotton takes colour more naturally, while blended surfaces can feel slightly plasticky.
• Thread count only means something once the fibre is settled — 200 thread count in pure cotton is a different fabric from 200 in a blend.

Frattini is 100% cotton throughout at 200 thread count, and certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.

Buying the full set is the simple route, but adding single pieces stretches the life of what you already own.

• Full bedding set: fitted sheet, duvet cover and pillowcases, for replacing everything at once.
• Fitted sheet with pillowcases: the best value when you already have a cover you like.
• Duvet cover on its own: it is the most visible piece in the room, so swapping just the cover changes the whole look for a fraction of a full set.
• Keep two fitted sheets in rotation so there is always one on the bed, and the wear is shared between them.

Covers and fitted sheets from different prints in the range mix perfectly well — keep the tones close and the bed still reads as one piece.
