Natural Home follows the international standard and measures per square inch, so our 500 thread count sheets are a true 500 threads per square inch, equivalent to roughly 1,814 threads per 10cm. We would rather you judged the fabric by how it feels than by the number on the label.

Beyond fibre origin and thread count, what actually shapes day-to-day use is the set you choose, the size you need and the colour you live with. Three things to settle before you buy.

  • Styling the Four Colours 

    • Beige: the most forgiving base, at home with timber and rattan furniture for a soft, natural bedroom.
    • Grey: neutral and clean-lined, suited to modern minimalist rooms and pale walls, and slow to date.
    • Graphite: the deepest of the four, adding weight and calm to a larger master bedroom.
    • Dark Green: a low-saturation green that quietens a room, particularly alongside oak or brushed brass.

    Long-staple fibres are fine and strong, so with the right care these sheets soften with every wash rather than wearing thin.

    • Wash once before first use — it lets the fibres relax and improves the drape.
    • Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softener, both of which dull the fibre and its sheen.
    • Tumble dry on low heat, out of prolonged direct sun.
    • Iron on medium heat while the fabric is still slightly damp, if you iron at all.
    • Keep two sets in rotation and change weekly, so wear is shared rather than concentrated.
