Natural Home hotel bed sheets are woven from 100% cotton sateen at 500 threads per square inch, giving the fabric a silk-like lustre and real breathability, with depth and shift under changing light.

This is the highest thread count in our cotton range — softer and finer than the 150 to 200 thread count sheets sold as standard, and durable with it, for the smoothness of hotel quality sheets. Plain shades are set off with embroidery or lace, so the luxury bedding reads in the detail.

There are brands using different unit for threads count such as every 10cm/ every 10 inch. As such, bigger unit, higher threads count. It may misunderstand consumers the actual threads count and affect their experience.

Natural Home follows the international standard and measures per square inch, so our 500 thread count sheets are a true 500 threads per square inch, equivalent to roughly 1,814 threads per 10cm. We would rather you judged the fabric by how it feels than by the number on the label.

The feel of a five-star bed comes from the fabric, the weave and what you pair it with. Three things to settle before choosing your set.

  • What is in a hotel bedding set? 

    This series is sold as a set, and the individual pieces are available on their own.

    • Full set: fitted sheet, duvet cover and two pillowcases.
    • Individual pieces: the fitted sheet, duvet cover or pillowcases can each be bought separately if only one needs replacing.
    • If you already own a quilt, a cover set is all you need — the fill is chosen separately from the down, silk or microfiber inserts.

    Buying the whole set in one color is what recreates the uniform look of a hotel bed.

  • Sizes and Mattress Depth

    • Sizes: Single / Twin (3'), Full / Double / Queen (4'-5') and King / Super King (6'-6.5'), plus pillowcases (2pcs).
    • Mattress depth: the fitted sheets in this series suit mattresses up to 38cm (15").
    • Measure the length, width and height of your mattress before ordering, so the sheet tucks fully at all four corners.

    If you use a mattress protector or a topper, count that extra depth in as well.

  • Choosing between plain colours and lace detailing 

    Six colourways, in two design directions.

    • White and grey: closest to a hotel room palette, clean-lined and slow to date.
    • Navy: deeper and steadier, suited to a larger master bedroom.
    • Olive green: finished with French cut-lace edging, the most decorative piece in the range.

1. How important is "500 Thread Count" for vacation-like comfort?

Very, but only if the number is measured honestly. Thread count determines the density and drape of the fabric, and 300 or above is the norm across international five-star hotels. 

Our 500-thread cotton sateen is counted per square inch, the international standard — equivalent to roughly 1,814 threads per 10cm, which is how some brands inflate the figure. That density is what gives the full, smooth drape behind a genuinely restful night, and Wrinkle Clear® technology keeps it that way through repeated washing.

2. Is 500 thread count too warm for Hong Kong summers?

Density is not the same as heat. The yarn matters more than the number: these are 100% combed cotton sateen, a breathable natural fibre that moves moisture away rather than trapping it, which is precisely why hotels use high thread count year-round in warm climates. 

What you feel is weight and smoothness, not insulation. If you sleep especially hot, the long-staple Egyptian Cotton Sateen range is the airier alternative at the same tier.

3. Why choose Deluxe over the 400 thread count collections?

Only for the hand-feel, because the functional features are shared.

What the extra spend buys is density: a heavier, silkier sateen with more pronounced drape, finished with embroidery or lace detailing.

4. What is included in a hotel bedding set, and which sizes are available?

A full set covers the fitted sheet, duvet cover and two pillowcases, and each piece can also be bought on its own. 

Sizes run Single (3'), Double and Queen (4'-5') and King to Super King (6'-6.5'), with every piece in this collection built for mattresses up to 15" (38cm) deep.

5. How should I care for Deluxe Cotton bedding?

Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle with a neutral detergent, and avoid bleach. Tumble dry on low heat, then take the sheets out slightly before they are fully dry and smooth them flat — this alone removes most creasing and keeps the crisp hotel look with no ironing. Store somewhere dry and well ventilated.
